Journey of a Reader through Three Different Worlds 1-6 Reader’s Attention is Drawn to the End of Time and End of this World 1. When the inevitable event happens. 2. There shall be none to deny its happening. 3. Abasing (some), exalting (others). 4. When the earth is shaken with convulsion. 5. And the mountains are broken down, crumbling. 6. So they become as scattered dust. اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الۡوَاقِعَةُ ۙ لَيۡسَ لِـوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ ۘ خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ ۙ اِذَا رُجَّتِ الۡاَرۡضُ رَجًّا ۙ وَّبُسَّتِ الۡجِبَالُ بَسًّا ۙ فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءً مُّنۡۢبَثًّا ۙ 07 Next - People will be Raised from Graves-Mankind Divided into 3 groups 7. And you become three kinds. وَّكُنۡتُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا ثَلٰثَةً ؕ 08-10 People of - Right Hand Side - Left Hand Side - Foremost 8. So those on the right hand. What of those on the right hand. 9. And those on the left hand. What of those on the left hand. 10. And those foremost, the foremost in the race. فَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَيۡمَنَةِ ۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَيۡمَنَةِ ؕ وَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِ ۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِ ؕ وَالسّٰبِقُوۡنَ السّٰبِقُوۡنَ ۚ ۙ 11-26 Who are the People at Foremost – Their Reward 11. They will be those nearest. 12. In the Gardens of delight. 13. A multitude from among the former people. 14. And a few from among those of later people. 15. On jeweled couches. 16. Reclining on them, facing each other. 17. There wait on them immortal youths. 18. With goblets, and pitchers, and a cup from a pure spring. 19. No headache will they get therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated. 20. And fruit, whichever they may choose. 21. And the flesh of fowls, whatever they may desire. 22. And fair ones with wide lovely eyes. 23. The likeness of well guarded pearls. 24. Reward for what they used to do. 25. They shall not hear therein vain talk, nor sinful speech. 26. Except the saying: “Peace, Peace.” اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَ ۚ فِىۡ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيۡمِ ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ۙ وَقَلِيۡلٌ مِّنَ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ ؕ عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّوۡضُوۡنَةٍ ۙ مُّتَّكِـِٕـيۡنَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ يَطُوۡفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُوۡنَ ۙ بِاَكۡوَابٍ وَّاَبَارِيۡقَ ۙ وَكَاۡسٍ مِّنۡ مَّعِيۡنٍ ۙ لَّا يُصَدَّعُوۡنَ عَنۡهَا وَلَا يُنۡزِفُوۡنَ ۙ وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُوۡنَ ۙ وَلَحۡمِ طَيۡرٍ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَ ؕ وَحُوۡرٌ عِيۡنٌ ۙ كَاَمۡثَالِ اللُّـؤۡلُـوٴِ الۡمَكۡنُوۡنِ ۚ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ لَا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا لَغۡوًا وَّلَا تَاۡثِيۡمًا ۙ اِلَّا قِيۡلاً سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا 27-40 Who are the People of Right Hand Side – Their Reward 27. And those on the right hand, what of those on the right hand. 28. Among thornless lote trees. 29. And clustered plantains. 30. And outspread shade. 31. And water gushing. 32. And abundant fruits. 33. Neither out of reach, nor forbidden. 34. And upraised couches. 35. Surely, We have created them a (new) creation. 36. And made them virgins. 37. Loving, of equal age. 38. For those on the right hand. 39. A multitude of those from among the former. 40. And a multitude of those from among the later. وَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ؕ فِىۡ سِدۡرٍ مَّخۡضُوۡدٍ ۙ وَّطَلۡحٍ مَّنۡضُوۡدٍ ۙ وَظِلٍّ مَّمۡدُوۡدٍ ۙ وَّ مَآءٍ مَّسۡكُوۡبٍ ۙ وَّفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيۡرَةٍ ۙ لَّا مَقۡطُوۡعَةٍ وَّلَا مَمۡنُوۡعَةٍ ۙ وَّ فُرُشٍ مَّرۡفُوۡعَةٍ ؕ اِنَّاۤ اَنۡشَاۡنٰهُنَّ اِنۡشَآءً ۙ فَجَعَلۡنٰهُنَّ اَبۡكَارًا ۙ عُرُبًا اَتۡرَابًا ۙ لِّاَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ؕ ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ۙ وَثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ ؕ 41-56 Who are the People of Left Hand Side – Their Reward 41. And those on the left hand, what of those on the left hand. 42. In the scorching wind and the boiling water. 43. And the shadow of black smoke. 44. Neither cool nor refreshing. 45. Indeed they were, before that, indulging in luxury. 46. And they used to persist in great sin. 47. And they used to say: “When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be resurrected.” 48. And our forefathers of before. 49. Say: “Surely the former and the later.” 50. “Shall be gathered together to an appointed meeting of a known day” 51. “Then indeed, you the deviators, the deniers.” 52. “You will eat of the tree of zaqqum.” 53. “Then you fill with it your bellies.” 54. “Then you will drink on it from the boiling water.” 55. “So you will drink as drink the thirsty camels.” 56. This will be their welcome on the Day of Judgment. وَاَصۡحٰبُ الشِّمَالِ ۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الشِّمَالِ ؕ فِىۡ سَمُوۡمٍ وَّحَمِيۡمٍ ۙ وَّظِلٍّ مِّنۡ يَّحۡمُوۡمٍ ۙ لَّا بَارِدٍ وَّلَا كَرِيۡمٍ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا قَبۡلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتۡرَفِيۡنَ ۚ ۖ وَكَانُوۡا يُصِرُّوۡنَ عَلَى الۡحِنۡثِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ ۚ وَكَانُوۡا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ۙ اَٮِٕذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَ ۙ اَوَاٰبَآؤُنَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ قُلۡ اِنَّ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ وَالۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ ۙ لَمَجۡمُوۡعُوۡنَ ۙ اِلٰى مِيۡقَاتِ يَوۡمٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍ ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمۡ اَيُّهَا الضَّآلُّوۡنَ الۡمُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ۙ لَاٰكِلُوۡنَ مِنۡ شَجَرٍ مِّنۡ زَقُّوۡمٍ ۙ فَمَا لِــُٔوۡنَ مِنۡهَا الۡبُطُوۡنَ ۚ فَشٰرِبُوۡنَ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ الۡحَمِيۡمِ ۚ فَشٰرِبُوۡنَ شُرۡبَ الۡهِيۡمِ ؕ هٰذَا نُزُلُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ الدِّيۡنِ ؕ 57 Dear Reader-Back to Earth-We Created you so Answer the 4 Questions 57. We have created you, then why do you not confirm. نَحۡنُ خَلَقۡنٰكُمۡ فَلَوۡلَا تُصَدِّقُوۡنَ 58-62 Question-1 58. So have you seen that which you emit. 59. Is it you who create it or are We the Creator. 60. We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone. 61. In that We may change your likeness, and create you in (forms) that you do not know. 62. And indeed you know the first creation. Why then you do not take heed. اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ مَّا تُمۡنُوۡنَ ؕ ءَاَنۡتُمۡ تَخۡلُقُوۡنَهٗۤ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الۡخَـالِقُوۡنَ نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ الۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوۡقِيۡنَ ۙ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ نُّبَدِّلَ اَمۡثَالَكُمۡ وَ نُـنۡشِئَكُمۡ فِىۡ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ وَلَـقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ النَّشۡاَةَ الۡاُوۡلٰى فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ 63-67 Question-2 63. So have you seen that which you sow (cultivate). 64. Is it you who make it grow, or are We the grower. 65. If We will, We could turn it into chaff, you would then be left lamenting. 66. Surely, we are laden with debt. 67. Nay, but we are deprived. اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ مَّا تَحۡرُثُوۡنَ ؕ ءَاَنۡتُمۡ تَزۡرَعُوۡنَهٗۤ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الزَّارِعُوۡنَ لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَـعَلۡنٰهُ حُطَامًا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُوۡنَ اِنَّا لَمُغۡرَمُوۡنَ ۙ بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُوۡمُوۡنَ 68-70 Question-3 68. So have you seen the water that you drink. 69. Is it you who cause it to come down from the rain clouds, or do We cause it to come down. 70. If We will, We could make it bitter. Then why do you not give thanks. اَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ الۡمَآءَ الَّذِىۡ تَشۡرَبُوۡنَ ؕ ءَاَنۡتُمۡ اَنۡزَلۡتُمُوۡهُ مِنَ الۡمُزۡنِ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الۡمُنۡزِلُوۡنَ لَوۡ نَشَآءُ جَعَلۡنٰهُ اُجَاجًا فَلَوۡلَا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ 71-73 Question-4 71. So have you seen the fire that you kindle. 72. Is it you who made to grow the tree thereof, or are We the grower. 73. We have made it a remembrance and a provision for the dwellers in the wilderness. اَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِىۡ تُوۡرُوۡنَ ؕ ءَاَنۡتُمۡ اَنۡشَاۡتُمۡ شَجَرَتَهَاۤ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الۡمُنۡشِـُٔـوۡنَ نَحۡنُ جَعَلۡنٰهَا تَذۡكِرَةً وَّمَتَاعًا لِّلۡمُقۡوِيۡنَ ۚ 74-82 Now Think of the Greatness of Your Lord and Truth of AlQuran 74. So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 75. Then nay, I swear by the places of the stars. 76. And surely, that is indeed a great oath, if you could know. 77. Indeed, this is a glorious Quran. 78. In a Book, well guarded. 79. Which none can touch but the purified. 80. A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 81. Then is it to this statement that you scorn. 82. And you make it your livelihood that you should declare it false. فَسَبِّحۡ بِاسۡمِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَظِيۡمِ فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوۡمِ ۙ وَاِنَّهٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ عَظِيۡمٌ ۙ اِنَّهٗ لَـقُرۡاٰنٌ كَرِيۡمٌ ۙ فِىۡ كِتٰبٍ مَّكۡنُوۡنٍ ۙ لَّا يَمَسُّهٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُطَهَّرُوۡنَ ؕ تَنۡزِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ اَفَبِهٰذَا الۡحَـدِيۡثِ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّدۡهِنُوۡنَ ۙ وَتَجۡعَلُوۡنَ رِزۡقَكُمۡ اَنَّكُمۡ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ 83-87 Now Reader’s Attention is Drawn to a Person Departing from this
World and Reader is Standing next to the Dying Person
83. So why not, when (the soul) comes up to the throat (of the dying). 84. And you are at that moment looking. 85. And We are closer to him than you, but you do not see. 86. Then why not, if you are exempt from account. 87. Bring it back (the soul), if you are truthful. فَلَوۡلَاۤ اِذَا بَلَغَتِ الۡحُـلۡقُوۡمَ ۙ وَاَنۡتُمۡ حِيۡنَٮِٕذٍ تَـنۡظُرُوۡنَ ۙ وَنَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَيۡهِ مِنۡكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ لَّا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ فَلَوۡلَاۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ غَيۡرَ مَدِيۡنِيۡنَ ۙ تَرۡجِعُوۡنَهَاۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ 88-89 Does the Dying Person Belong to the Foremost Group 88. Thus, then if he was of those brought near. 89. (For him is) comfort and good provision and the Garden of bliss. فَاَمَّاۤ اِنۡ كَانَ مِنَ الۡمُقَرَّبِيۡنَ ۙ فَرَوۡحٌ وَّ رَيۡحَانٌ ۙ وَّجَنَّتُ نَعِيۡمٍ 90-91 Does the Dying Person Belong to the Right Hand Group 90. And thus, if he was of those on the right hand. 91. Then peace be to you from those on right hand. وَاَمَّاۤ اِنۡ كَانَ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ۙ فَسَلٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ؕ 92-94 Does the Dying Person Belong to the Left Hand Group 92. And thus, if he was of the deniers, gone astray. 93. Then the welcome will be of boiling water. 94. And burning in Hell. وَاَمَّاۤ اِنۡ كَانَ مِنَ الۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ الضَّآلِّيۡنَ ۙ فَنُزُلٌ مِّنۡ حَمِيۡمٍ ۙ وَّتَصۡلِيَةُ جَحِيۡمٍ 95-96 All this is Truth and Glory Belongs to Your Lord 95. Indeed this, it is truth with certainty. 96. So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الۡيَـقِيۡنِ ۚ فَسَبِّحۡ بِاسۡمِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَظِيۡمِ
