The Straight Path اَلصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِيۡمَ
Surah AlFatiha 01:05 Man makes Dua to be guided on the Straight Path 05. Guide us to the straight path. اِهۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِيۡمَ Surah AlFatiha 01:06 Man wishes to be on the path of those who were blessed 06. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who incurred Your anger, nor of those who are astray. صِرَاطَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ۙ غَيۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّيۡنَ Surah AlAnaam 06:151-152 Allah responds what to do to be on the Straight Path 151. Say Come, I will recite that which your Lord has forbidden to you. قُلۡ تَعَالَوۡا اَتۡلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ That you associate not anything with Him. اَلَّا تُشۡرِكُوۡا بِهٖ شَيۡـًٔـا And be kind to the parents. وَّبِالۡوَالِدَيۡنِ اِحۡسَانًا And do not kill your children because of poverty. We provide sustenance for you and for them. وَ لَا تَقۡتُلُوۡۤا اَوۡلَادَكُمۡ مِّنۡ اِمۡلَاقٍ ؕ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُكُمۡ وَاِيَّاهُمۡ And you come not near to lewd things, what is apparent of them and what is concealed. وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوا الۡفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَ مَا بَطَنَ ۚ And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except in the course of justice. وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوا النَّفۡسَ الَّتِىۡ حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا بِالۡحَـقِّ ؕ This He has commanded you with, that you may understand. ذٰلِكُمۡ وَصّٰٮكُمۡ بِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ 152. And come not near to the wealth of the orphan except with that which is better, until he reaches to his full strength. وَ لَا تَقۡرَبُوۡا مَالَ الۡيَتِيۡمِ اِلَّا بِالَّتِىۡ هِىَ اَحۡسَنُ حَتّٰى يَبۡلُغَ اَشُدَّهٗ ۚ And give full measure and weight with justice. وَاَوۡفُوا الۡكَيۡلَ وَ الۡمِيۡزَانَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ ۚ We burden not any soul beyond its capacity. لَا نُـكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَهَا ۚ And when you speak, do justice, even if it be (against) a near relative. وَ اِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَاعۡدِلُوۡا وَ لَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبٰى ۚ And fulfill the covenant of Allah. وَبِعَهۡدِ اللّٰهِ اَوۡفُوۡا ؕ This He has commanded you with, that you may remember. ذٰلِكُمۡ وَصّٰٮكُمۡ بِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ ۙ Surah AlAnaam 06:153 Allah instructs to follow His Straight Path as defined
above. Do not follow other paths or you will go astray
153. And verily, this is My path, leading straight, so follow it. وَ اَنَّ هٰذَا صِرَاطِىۡ مُسۡتَقِيۡمًا فَاتَّبِعُوۡهُ ۚ And follow not (other) ways, that would separate you from His way. وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِهٖ ؕ This He has commanded you with, that you may fear (Allah). ذٰلِكُمۡ وَصّٰٮكُمۡ بِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَ
