They Ask You As mentioned in AlQuran People Ask Prophet ( ﷺ) - Allah ( سُبْحَانَہُ وَ تَعَالَیٰ ) Replies
Hereafter
AnNaziat 79:42,46 Question When is the Day of Judgment
Answer When your worldly life will seem to you as part of a day
42. They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection). When is its appointed time. 46. It will be as, on the day when they see it, if they had not stayed except for an evening or the morning thereof. يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرۡسٰٮهَا كَاَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوۡۤا اِلَّا عَشِيَّةً اَوۡضُحٰٮهَا AaAaraf 07:187 Question When is the Day of Judgment
Answer Its knowledge is with Allah only-Mankind know not
187. They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): “When is its appointed time.” Say: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord.
They ask you as if you could be well informed thereof. Say: “The knowledge thereof is with Allah, but most of mankind do not know. يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرۡسٰٮهَا قُلۡ اِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِنۡدَ رَبِّىۡ يَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ كَاَنَّكَ حَفِىٌّ عَنۡهَا قُلۡ اِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ Mountains Taaha 20: 105-107 Question What will happen to mountains
Answer They will be blown away at the last hour
105. And they ask you about the mountains. Say: My Lord will blow them away with a blast. 106. “Then He shall leave them as plains, smooth.” 107. “Wherein you will see neither curve nor ruggedness.” وَ يَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡجِبَالِ فَقُلۡ يَنۡسِفُهَا رَبِّىۡ نَسۡفًا فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفۡصَفًا لَّا تَرٰى فِيۡهَا عِوَجًا وَّلَاۤ اَمۡتًا ArRooh AlIsra 17: 85 Question What is ArRooh
Answer It is by the command of Allah
85. And they ask you about the ArRooh. Say: “The ArRooh is by the command of my Lord. And you have not been given of the knowledge except a little.” وَ يَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الرُّوۡحِ قُلِ الرُّوۡحُ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّىۡ وَ مَاۤ اُوۡتِيۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡعِلۡمِ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلاً Moon AlBaqarah 02:189 Question Importance of new moons
Answer Marking of times and Hajj
189. They ask you about the new moons. Say: These are signs for marking times for mankind, and the pilgrimage. يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡاَهِلَّةِ
قُلۡ هِىَ مَوَاقِيۡتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالۡحَجِّ
Spending AlBaqarah 02:215 Question What should they spend
Answer Spend from the good
215. They ask you what should they spend. Say: “Whatever you spend of good. (must be) for parents, and near kindred, and orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer. And whatever you do of good, then indeed, Allah is Aware of it.” يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ مَاذَا يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ قُلۡ مَآ اَنۡفَقۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ خَيۡرٍ فَلِلۡوَالِدَيۡنِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبِيۡنَ وَ الۡيَتٰمٰى وَ الۡمَسٰكِيۡنِ وَابۡنِ السَّبِيۡلِ وَمَا تَفۡعَلُوۡا مِنۡ خَيۡرٍ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِهٖ عَلِيۡمٌ AlBaqarah 02:219 Question They ask about spending
Answer Spend what is more than your needs
219. And they ask you what they should spend. Say: “That which is beyond your needs.” وَ يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ مَاذَا يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ
قُلِ الۡعَفۡوَ
Lawful and Unlawful AlMaidah 05:04,5 Question What is lawful AlBaqarah 02:168,173 Answer All pure things and virtuous women are permissible 4. They ask you what has been made lawful for them. Say: Lawful for you are (all) pure things.
5. This day (all) good things have been made lawful for you. And the food of those who were given the Book is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And the virtuous women from among the believers, and the virtuous women among those who were given the Book before you (are lawful to you in marriage), when you give them their bridal gifts, desiring chastity, not illegal sexual relationship, nor taking as (secret) lovers. 168. O mankind, eat of that which is lawful (and) good on the earth, and do not follow the footsteps of the devil. Indeed, he is an open enemy to you. 173. He has forbidden to you only carrion, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that which has been immolated to other than Allah. So whoever is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, nor transgressing, then it is no sin for him. Truly, Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. *يَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ مَاذَاۤ اُحِلَّ لَهُمۡ قُلۡ اُحِلَّ لَـكُمُ الطَّيِّبٰتُ
*اَلۡيَوۡمَ اُحِلَّ لَـكُمُ الطَّيِّبٰتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡكِتٰبَ حِلٌّ لَّـکُمۡ وَ طَعَامُكُمۡ حِلٌّ لَّهُمۡ وَالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡـكِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ اِذَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ مُحۡصِنِيۡنَ غَيۡرَ مُسٰفِحِيۡنَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِىۡۤ اَخۡدَانٍ *يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوۡا مِمَّا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ حَلٰلاً طَيِّبًا ۖ وَّ لَا تَتَّبِعُوۡا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيۡطٰنِ اِنَّهٗ لَـكُمۡ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيۡنٌ *اِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الۡمَيۡتَةَ وَ الدَّمَ وَلَحۡمَ الۡخِنۡزِيۡرِ وَ مَآ اُهِلَّ بِهٖ لِغَيۡرِ اللّٰهِ فَمَنِ اضۡطُرَّ غَيۡرَ بَاغٍ وَّلَا عَادٍ فَلَاۤ اِثۡمَ عَلَيۡهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ AlBaqarah 02:219 Question They ask about wine, gambling AlMaidah 05:90-91 Answer Wine, gambling are sins and Satanic 219. They ask you about wine and gambling. Say: “In them is great sin, and (some) benefit for people. And the sin of them is greater than their benefit.”
90. O those who believe, intoxicants, and gambling, and idolatrous sacrifices at altars, and divining arrows are only an abomination of Satan’s handiwork. So avoid it that you may be successful.
91. Satan only wants to cause between you enmity and hatred with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from the prayer. So, will you refrain. *يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡخَمۡرِ وَ الۡمَيۡسِرِ
قُلۡ فِيۡهِمَآ اِثۡمٌ کَبِيۡرٌ وَّ مَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَ اِثۡمُهُمَآ اَکۡبَرُ مِنۡ نَّفۡعِهِمَا
*يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّمَا الۡخَمۡرُ وَالۡمَيۡسِرُ وَ الۡاَنۡصَابُ وَ الۡاَزۡلَامُ رِجۡسٌ مِّنۡ عَمَلِ الشَّيۡطٰنِ فَاجۡتَنِبُوۡهُ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ *اِنَّمَا يُرِيۡدُ الشَّيۡطٰنُ اَنۡ يُّوۡقِعَ بَيۡنَكُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةَ وَ الۡبَغۡضَآءَ فِى الۡخَمۡرِ وَ الۡمَيۡسِرِ وَ يَصُدَّكُمۡ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِ اللّٰهِ وَ عَنِ الصَّلٰوةِ فَهَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّنۡتَهُوۡنَ Orphans AlBaqarah 02:220 Question Right of orphans and their wealth
Answer Look after – Treat as brothers
220. And they ask you about the orphans. Say: Improvement for them is best. And if you mix your affairs with theirs, then (they are) your brothers. وَ يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡيَتٰمٰى قُلۡ اِصۡلَاحٌ لَّهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ وَّ اِنۡ تُخَالِطُوۡهُمۡ فَاِخۡوَانُكُمۡ Fighting AlBaqarah 02:217 Question Fighting in sacred months (DhulQadah DhulHajj Muharram Rajab)
Answer Fighting in sacred months is great sin
217. They ask you about the sacred month (and) fighting therein. Say: “Fighting therein is a great (sin). But averting from the way of Allah, and disbelief in Him, and (keeping from) AlMasjid alHaram, and expulsion of its people there from, is greater (evil) in the sight of Allah. And persecution is greater than killing.” يَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الشَّهۡرِ الۡحَـرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيۡهِ
قُلۡ قِتَالٌ فِيۡهِ كَبِيۡرٌ وَ صَدٌّ عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَ کُفۡرٌۢ بِهٖ وَالۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَـرَامِ وَ اِخۡرَاجُ اَهۡلِهٖ مِنۡهُ اَكۡبَرُ عِنۡدَاللّٰهِ وَ الۡفِتۡنَةُ اَکۡبَرُ مِنَ الۡقَتۡلِ
War Booty AlAnfaal 08:01,41 Question Who will receive spoils of war
Answer Allah commands who will get a share of spoils of war
1. They ask you about the spoils of war. Say: “The (decisions about) spoils of war belong to Allah and the Messenger.”
41. And know that whatever of any thing you obtain as the spoils of war, then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it, and for the Messenger, and for the near of kin, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer. *يَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡاَنۡفَالِ قُلِ الۡاَنۡفَالُ لِلّٰهِ وَ الرَّسُوۡلِ
*وَ اعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَا غَنِمۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ فَاَنَّ لِلّٰهِ خُمُسَهٗ وَ لِلرَّسُوۡلِ وَ لِذِى الۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَ الۡيَتٰمٰى وَ الۡمَسٰكِيۡنِ وَابۡنِ السَّبِيۡلِ Menstruation AlBaqarah 02:222 Question Injunction about menstruation
Answer Emphasis on purity in the relationship
222. And they ask you about menstruation.
Say: “It is a state of impurity, so keep away from women during menstruation, and do not approach them until they are cleansed. So when they have purified themselves, then go to them from where Allah has ordained upon you. Indeed, Allah loves those who turn to Him in repentance and He loves those who purify themselves.” وَ يَسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡمَحِيۡضِ قُلۡ هُوَ اَذًى فَاعۡتَزِلُوا النِّسَآءَ فِى الۡمَحِيۡضِ وَ لَا تَقۡرَبُوۡهُنَّ حَتّٰى يَطۡهُرۡنَ فَاِذَا تَطَهَّرۡنَ فَاۡتُوۡهُنَّ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ اَمَرَكُمُ اللّٰهُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِيۡنَ وَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُتَطَهِّرِيۡنَ Dhul-Qarneyn AlBaqarah 18:83,84 Question Who was Dhul-Qarneyn
Answer A powerful and righteous king
83. And they ask you about Dhul-Qarneyn. Say: “I shall recite to you story about him.”
84. Indeed, We established him upon the earth, and We gave him the means of every thing. *وَيَسۡــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنۡ ذِ ى الۡقَرۡنَيۡنِ قُلۡ سَاَتۡلُوۡا عَلَيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡهُ ذِكۡرًا *اِنَّا مَكَّنَّا لَهٗ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَ اٰتَيۡنٰهُ مِنۡ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ سَبَبًا
