Our Records-As mentioned in Al-Quran بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡم Al-Mulk 67:2 Our Creation is for Test/Trial - A Record needs to be kept for the Test-Results (2). He who created the death and the life that He may test you which of you is best in deed, and He is All Mighty, All Forgiving. اۨلَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ الۡمَوۡتَ وَالۡحَيٰوةَ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ اَيُّكُمۡ اَحۡسَنُ عَمَلًا ؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡغَفُوۡرُۙ‏ Al-Infitar 82:10-12 Scribers - two Angels - Record all our actions (10). And indeed, there are above you guardians. (11). Honorable Scribes. (12). They know whatever you do. وَاِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحٰـفِظِيۡنَۙ‏ كِرَامًا كَاتِبِيۡنَۙ‏ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ مَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ‏ AlZalzalah 99:7-8 On the day of Judgment, man will be shown his Record - Good and Bad (7). So whoever does an atom’s weight of good, shall see it. (8). And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil, shall see it. فَمَنۡ يَّعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرًا يَّرَهٗ ‏ وَ مَنۡ يَّعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَّرَهٗ ‏ Al-Kahaf 18:49 A Complete Record – No deed small or big is left out (49). And (on the day of judgment) the Record of deeds will be placed, and you will see the criminals fearful of that which is recorded therein, and they will say: “Woe to us, what is this record that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, except takes account thereof.” And they will find what they did, presented before them. And your Lord does not do injustice to anyone. وَ وُضِعَ الۡكِتٰبُ فَتَرَى الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ مُشۡفِقِيۡنَ مِمَّا فِيۡهِ وَ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ يٰوَيۡلَـتَـنَا مَالِ هٰذَا الۡـكِتٰبِ لَا يُغَادِرُ صَغِيۡرَةً وَّلَا كَبِيۡرَةً اِلَّاۤ اَحۡصٰٮهَا‌ۚ وَ وَجَدُوۡا مَا عَمِلُوۡا حَاضِرًا‌ؕ وَ لَا يَظۡلِمُ رَبُّكَ اَحَدًا‏ Al-Anbia 21:47 A deed as small as a mustard seed will be shown to us in our Record (47). And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, so not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as Reckoners. وَ نَضَعُ الۡمَوَازِيۡنَ الۡقِسۡطَ لِيَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٌ شَيۡـًٔـا‌ؕ وَاِنۡ كَانَ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلٍ اَتَيۡنَا بِهَا‌ؕ وَكَفٰى بِنَا حٰسِبِيۡنَ‏ Qaaf 50:17-21 Angels Record until the last moment of our life (17). When the two receivers (angels) receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left. (18). He does not utter any word but there is with him a recorder, ever ready. (19). And the agony of death has come with the truth. That is what you were trying to escape from. (20). And the trumpet is blown. That is the promised Day. (21). And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. اِذۡ يَتَلَقَّى الۡمُتَلَقِّيٰنِ عَنِ الۡيَمِيۡنِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيۡدٌ‏ مَا يَلۡفِظُ مِنۡ قَوۡلٍ اِلَّا لَدَيۡهِ رَقِيۡبٌ عَتِيۡدٌ‏ وَ جَآءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ الۡمَوۡتِ بِالۡحَـقِّ ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ مَا كُنۡتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِيۡدُ‏ وَ نُفِخَ فِى الصُّوۡرِ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ الۡوَعِيۡدِ‏ وَ جَآءَتۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآٮِٕقٌ وَّ شَهِيۡدٌ‏ Al-Haqqa 96:19-24 Good People will receive their Record in the right hand (19). Then as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he will say: “Take, read my record.” (20). “Indeed, I knew that I would meet my reckoning.” (21). So he will be in a state of bliss. (22). In a high Garden. (23). Its clusters of fruits shall be hanging within easy reach. (24). Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent before in the days of the past. فَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيۡنِهٖۙ فَيَقُوۡلُ هَآؤُمُ اقۡرَءُوۡا كِتٰبِيَهۡ‌ۚ‏ اِنِّىۡ ظَنَنۡتُ اَنِّىۡ مُلٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهۡ‌ۚ‏ فَهُوَ فِىۡ عِيۡشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍۙ‏ فِىۡ جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۙ‏ قُطُوۡفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ‏ كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَنِيۡٓــًٔاۢ بِمَاۤ اَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِى الۡاَيَّامِ الۡخَـالِيَةِ‏ Al-Haqqa 96:25-29 Guilty will receive their Record in the left hand (25). And as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: “Would that I had not been given my record.” (26). “And had never known what my account was.” (27). “Would that, it had been the decisive (death).” (28). “Has not availed me my wealth.” (29). “Gone from me is my authority.” وَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِشِمَالِهٖ ۙ فَيَقُوۡلُ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ لَمۡ اُوۡتَ كِتٰبِيَهۡ‌ۚ‏ وَلَمۡ اَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡ‌ۚ‏ يٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ الۡقَاضِيَةَ‌ۚ‏ مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنِّىۡ مَالِيَهۡۚ‏ هَلَكَ عَنِّىۡ سُلۡطٰنِيَهۡ‌ۚ‏
